Phil is an experienced tax professional based in Washington state. Prior to forming Lucidity Tax, he served at several prominent accounting firms:​

• Senior Tax Manager, Elliott Davis LLC

• Tax Manager, Deloitte Tax LLP

• Tax Manager, BDO USA LLP​

Phil has served clients in a broad range of industries, including banking, construction, energy, health care, nonprofit, real estate, and technology. He is highly skilled in tax research and compliance, and is experienced in resolving complex tax issues for individuals and businesses. Phil has presented to the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants regarding IRS communication strategies, drafted expert reports on payroll tax matters, and instructed colleagues on employment tax reporting and research methods.​​

Phil has been a licensed CPA in Washington state since 2013. He holds a Master of Taxation degree from W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University. Phil is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
